Students from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM) were the first to showcase their collections. While
the fashion varied from designer to designer, the female models shared flirty and feminine looks with elongated eyeliner, bold
coloured lips, large and soft bouncy curls, and matte skin. This was not the matte from the early 90’s(where the skin was reminiscent
of a cold, chalky pallor before death) but a soft, silky look.
The NARS team emphasized blending with their fingers to achieve the perfect finish to the skin. This
produces an effect that brushes or sponges cannot mimic because of the natural oils and heat from the body.
